Tree Composites is proud to announce to have been granted the Take-off phase 2 by the Dutch Research Council (NWO).

Tree Composites develops composite joints for lattice type structures that will contribute to the necessary acceleration of the energy transition and in special to reach EU’s 2050 target of 350GW of offshore wind energy. To reach this goal, it is crucial to increase offshore wind foundation supply chain production capacity within the EU.  The composite joints have the potential to double output of current manufacturing yards if the supply of composite joints can be guaranteed. In the NWO Phase 2 project we will develop a manufacturing method that is scalable with the impact we aim to have.
