Tree Composites concludes successful Eyevestor campaign with €683,000 raised
On 20 August, Tree Composites concluded its Eyevestor campaign, raising a total of €683,000.
We reached our original target of €500,000 within two months of the campaign’s launch. The support and confidence of our investors have given us the continuity to keep building towards the next phase of our technology.
A year of important steps forward
Over the past year, Tree Composites has made meaningful progress in the development of its composite joint technology.
We completed and tested our first demonstrator jacket with composite joints, providing valuable input for the continued validation and certification of the technology. We also started JOIN2SCALE, the Horizon Europe project in which Tree Composites leads a European consortium of industrial and research partners.
Together, these steps bring us closer to a scalable production process for composite joints in offshore wind structures.
Building towards the next phase
The Eyevestor campaign may have come to an end, but the next phase is already underway.
In the coming period, Tree Composites will continue to focus on validation, certification and industrialisation. Through JOIN2SCALE, we are developing and validating automated composite joint production, with the ambition to scale the technology to the production volumes needed for offshore wind farms.
We are grateful to every investor who has joined us on this journey. Your support helps Tree Composites take the next steps towards stronger, smarter and more sustainable offshore structures.
Design and manufacturing of innovative composite solutions for offshore challenges
Tree Composites introduces the TC-joint, a novel technology based on composite as an alternative to the complex welded joints in multi-membered tubular structures. We provide solutions to realise dynamically loaded structures with less material and at the same time increase the production rate at the construction yard. Tree Composites designs and manufactures TC-joint with superior performance over welded joints.
The TC-joint is applicable to a wide variety of industries, but we put our efforts in the industry where we can make the greatest impact, offshore structures. Continuous effort is put into reaching new levels of certification, developing new tools and knowledge. From this point on, we look forward to develop our joint technology to its full potential. Paving the path towards more sustainable renewable energy.
