Seavolt presents solar energy test platform with TC-joints
Tree Composites congratulates Seavolt with the presentation of their solar energy test platform. We are proud to have constructed this first-of-a-kind full composite offshore platform with our TC-joint technology.
Seavolt has developed a concept specifically tailored to the conditions of rough seas, highly suitable for installation as a complement to offshore wind farms. We are grateful to the partners in Seavolt, TRACTEBEL, DEME Group, and Jan De Nul Group, for trusting us to be part of this crucial test, aimed at the large-scale development of offshore solar energy. Our innovative joint design enabled the construction of this platform using light-weight composite materials.

The full composite platform during FAT testing, June 19 2023
The 19th of July 2023, on the yard were Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Justice and Northsea Vincent Van Quickenborne, Secretary of State for Science Policy Thomas Dermine and Mayor of Oostende Bart Tommelein alongside the partners, contractors, port officials.
