This award, granted by an independent jury of industry leaders, recognises the deep-tech, societal and commercial impact of our composite joint technology: a breakthrough that replaces traditional welded steel connections with a stronger, lighter and more sustainable alternative.

Being selected as the number one innovation of the year is both an honour and a powerful confirmation of the years of research, engineering and collaboration that brought the TC-joint from a university concept to a market-ready, industry-validated solution.

As KVK emphasised, our technology represents “a scalable innovation with direct societal value,” accelerating the transition towards affordable, faster-built and lower-emission offshore wind infrastructure.
