Composite Manufacturing Engineer
Tree Composites is looking for a Composite Manufacturing Engineer who can bring our designs to life.

Then we might be looking for you. Tree Composites aims to provide solutions to accelerate offshore wind deployment. How? By designing and manufacturing composite joints for offshore wind foundations. We are a start-up, founded in 2020 to bring our disruptive technology from TU Delft research to the market. Our office can be found in The Buccaneer, the offshore & energy accelerator in Delft, our workshop is close to the TU Delft campus.
In the coming years, we will continue to work on R&D projects, focusing on creating high-quality joints and subassemblies for testing by the research group at TU Delft. We are also enhancing the development of our manufacturing processes, including automation and upscaling, to meet future market demands.
Your responsibilities
• Prepare and oversee manufacturing projects both in our workshop and on-site.
• Act as the key contact between Tree Composites and our suppliers, ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality materials for our projects.
• Execute and lead efforts to improve and innovate our current processes.
Your background
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the composite, offshore (wind) industry, or manufacturing sectors where transferable skills have been developed.
• Proven ability to solve problems independently.
• Quick thinking and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in composite manufacturing techniques, especially liquid composite moulding; willingness to develop further hands-on skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is not necessary.
• Must have a valid work permit for the European Union.
