JR Production Engineers (Part time)

Tree Composites is continuously looking for Jr Production Engineers to part time support the production of our composite joints. If you  want to enrich your theoretical education with practical work experience in the field, we have just the student job for you.

Tree Composites aims to provide solutions to accelerate offshore wind deployment by a factor nine. How? By designing and manufacturing composite joints for offshore wind foundations. We are a start-up, founded in 2020 to bring our disruptive technology from TU Delft research to the market. Our office can be found in The Buccaneer, the offshore & energy accelerator in Delft. Our current production facility is in Bergen op Zoom.

As a working student, you will help creating high quality joints to be tested by the research group at the TU Delft. And you will be working on commercial projects to develop our technology further.

As a working student, you will work on (for example):

  • Cutting glass using automated cutting machine;
  • Support hand lamination of composite joints;
  • General task in and around the office that fit your profile;

Most of the work will take place in Bergen op Zoom. Transport to Bergen op Zoom from the Delft office will be arranged.

Your background

  • You are a student in possession or willing to develop hands-on skills with composite manufacturing;
  • You are available to work full days during working hours;
  • You are fluent in Dutch or English;
